Cumaru, also known as tonka bean, has a warm, rich, and complex scent. It’s often described as a blend of sweet vanilla, almond, and caramel, with subtle hints of cinnamon and clove. There’s also a slightly woody, spicy undertone that gives the fragrance depth and sophistication. The scent of cumaru can evoke a cozy and comforting atmosphere, with an inviting and luxurious feel.
