A traditional African cloth technique that dates back to 12th-century Mali, West Africa, mud cloth (or bogolanfini) consists of narrow strips of entirely hand woven cotton fabric, naturally dyed using a special fermented plant and mud process and left to dry in the sunshine.

Handcrafted at Mararamiro with mud cloth woven & naturally dyed in Mali.

Imperfections such as fabric weave irregularities, visible knots, and discolourations should be expected as these are completely normal and important characteristics of this organic, handmade cloth. These attributes are not defects.
