As Seen in House & Home Magazine!

Discover Mararamiro Home’s feature in House & Home magazine’s November issue!

We’re thrilled to announce that Mararamiro Home has been featured in the November issue of House & Home magazine! Nestled in Toronto’s Roncesvalles area, Mararamiro is described as an “unexpected treasure trove” filled with thoughtfully curated antiques and home goods. We’re honored to have our story told in this celebrated design publication and to share a bit more about our mission and collection with you.

For those wondering about the meaning behind our name, Mararamiro (Mah-ra-ra-mee-roe) reflects a way of living inspired by my partner’s Zimbabwean heritage. It’s all about living in harmony with one’s values and attitudes, and each item we carry is chosen to embody that spirit.

From handloomed rugs crafted by Ethiopian artisans to one-of-a-kind Chinese pottery and antique wood benches from West Africa, our shop is about more than just decor—it’s about fostering connections. As I shared with House & Home, "By highlighting artisans, we foster a connection between our customers and the creators."

We’re also proud to offer items crafted in-house, including pillow covers made from antique Ukrainian linen and hand-dyed African mudcloth. And in addition to our collections, we host events and workshops throughout the year, creating a space where creativity and community come together.

You can find our feature on page 16 of the magazine, available on newsstands and through Apple News now. Thank you to House & Home for this beautiful feature, and a huge thank you to all of you for making Mararamiro a place where art, culture, and craftsmanship come alive.

By highlighting artisans, we foster a connection between our customers and creators.
